Knitwear Care

A little care and attention will keep your knitwear looking great and feeling luxurious.

Washing your Knitwear :
You will receive the best results by handwashing knitwear inside out, in cold water and using a gentle detergent.   Soak for 10 minutes and rinse thoroughly. To expel excess water, roll the knit in a clean towel and press gently to help water absorb. They using a fresh towel lay your knit on a flat surface to dry.

Avoid using harsh detergents or chemicals and dissolve any powdered detergents before immersing the garment.

Pilling:
Pilling is those pesky fuzzy balls on the surface of clothing.  It is caused by rubbing during wear or constant contact with rough surfaces.  It can occur anywhere but generally happens  on sleeves, under the armpits where they rub against the body, and on the hip where bags etc rub against the knit.

To remove pills carefully use a fabric comb.
